Apps for Google will not run/install on COBY MID9742-8 4.0 #3

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1..apk files will not install. 
2. If they do install they will not run.
3. Only thing I have not done if tried transferring files via computer. Web 
download and email download will not work.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected output is running Google Apps. Instead it says Nothing can perform 
this action, or the app just flashes and quits.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Various versions, mostly all up to date I think. 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

Please provide any additional information below.
I really would prefer not to Root.

So, if i have a coby kyros 8042-4 then it wont instal because my tablet is 
doing all of the above.

Right, if you cant install anything Google related (Mail/Chrome/Maps) its 
because Coby rewrote the OS for them only. I did read a few work arounds but 
there so complicated that I just returned mine and bought a much better tablet. 
Motorola XOOM.

hey I have a coby kyros 7034 and has the same problem i download both 
googleserviceframework.apk and androidmarket.apk and i have the problem with 
both above. googleserviceframework.apk says it cant be installed and the 
androidmarket.apk installs but just blinks dark and returns to the main screen. 
you said there is a complicated way of getting around it. can you tell me how 
or give me a site that says how to do it. much appriciated Thanks
