dcterms: is a typed super set of the 15 original (untyped) dc: items.
dcterms:
dc:
Ontologicaly, every dcterms: item is directly related to its corresponding dc: item
Some schema (e.g. our metadata) explicitly specify the typed versions of the terms.
Deployed fixes for otherwise identical labels are redundant & annoying e.g. appending " (dce)".
(temporarily?) stop the OMIM ingest from adding (multiple) rdfs:label to ORPHA classes see: #969
