note that we were going to import CLO, but it's missing an import so we don't bring it (see #2)
that could be v problematic, the CLO import chain has ancient modules
we don't have written criteria yet for what goes in. We should include anything that we need in a closure (ie that is subj or obj of association)
some things can have potentially weird side effects, need to document these
