we also need to define what is the end point of an infectious disease
name: infectious disease def: "A disorder resulting from the presence and activity of a microbial, viral, or parasitic agent. It can be transmitted by direct or indirect contact." [NCIT:C26726]
This is vague
is it intended that this covers subacute sclerosing panencephalitis (a chronic progressive encephalitis that develops a few years after measles infection)
what should the logical definition of chickenpox be?
if it is any infectious disease from varicella zoster and the definition of 'infectious disease' has no defined endpoint then chickenpox will include shingles as subtype. Is this desirable? I don't think so.
I think the def of infectious disorder should be changed to include the term 'directly'
e.g
name: infectious disease def: "A disorder directly resulting from the presence and activity of a microbial, viral, or parasitic agent. It can be transmitted by direct or indirect contact." [NCIT:C26726]
I think this can be closed?
this is not right
this should classify in the metaclass infectious_disease_by_agent
the logical def should change to conform
we also need a check, as infectious diseases shouldn't use realized_in_response_to_stimulus
