children of 'non-human animal disease'

Frank Nichols is to provide an OWL file.

Next, need to create a non-human animal disease/OMIA view - create a subset tag for OMIA?

related to #3855

@sabrinatoro I'm assigning this to you too. I don't think it's high priority though but could you try to move this along? Thanks!

note: email was sent by Imke on Fri Nov 4 After completing adding ‘categories’ to all OMIA phenes I am now ready to restart creating a file that allows us to add OMIA to Mondo.

I propose to first enter those OMIA phenes that have been linked to a single OMIM disease (same or similar name with similar clinical signs based on a rough analysis by me) and diseases in both animal and human are caused by orthologous genes (other mutations in these genes may cause other disases as well)

I had discussed an OMIA ontology mapping file with Nico before but that did not catch all the information we have (e.g. didn’t include the category info and did not have species information) and attempted to cover all OMIA entries (which includes non disease traits that should be mapped to upheno2)

So I have attached a document that represents my current thinking with a few example entries for your review before I proceed. I guess it might be helpful to organise a zoom for me to explain what every column means …

I have some minor questions about this but I'll bring up on Friday!
