Chris has left a lot of Editor notes on Mondo terms when he created the ontology. The list of terms with editors notes is here.

This is a long list, but over time, we should review these comments and take appropriate action.

(Initial) Action items:

[x] Create a new ticket for the obsoletion candidates in this tab. Create a markdown table from the spreadsheet, see instructions here.

[ ] Create a new ticket for the merge candidates in this tab (create a markdown table using this link)
- [ ] need to look up the (potential) terms to be merged with and add ID and label to the spreadsheet above
- [ ] Nicole or Sabrina should review
- [ ] next, add the merge candidates to this template and obsoletion candidates to this template

@sabrinatoro I can work on this, you should focus on other tickets. I'll try to work on this a bit each month, it's a really big ticket.

Can I ask that someone take a look at the MONDO:0011940 & MONDO:0000070 Merge that has been pending for a while? (scheduled for obsoletion on or after 2022-10-01) Also Mycobacterium tuberculosis, protection against should be split into new record, with the OMIM 'included concept' tag. (related to #5507 )

Hi @kanems - thanks for pointing this out, there is not a ticket associated with that merge for some reason. I'll create one and I'll aim to address this before the next release.
