We recently added new gene annotations sourced from OMIM, and we had a discussion (https://github.com/monarch-initiative/mondo-ingest/pull/559#issuecomment-2166586440) regarding whether or not to keep the existing mim2gene_medgen source annotations. We've decided that they're redundant, lower quality (updated less often), and second-hand (sourced from OMIM as well), so we've decided to remove them.
