This project is abandoned #131

Open holmrenser opened 5 years ago

holmrenser commented 5 years ago

There are quite a few issues being reported that are not answered, and the code is not maintained. Specifically, #115 asking about the state of this project is not answered in over a year.

I am currently using this project, so I am considering forking it.

Alternatively, @davidebianchi could appoint some contributers.

Hey @holmrenser , yeah, unfortunately we don't have time anymore to maintain this library (and we're not actively using it). We can consider giving write access to outside contributors. If you're interested we can arrange that. Let me know

I think DDP is a very good idea. And since you are using it in the meteor project, could you consider making it into TWO(server/client) portable NPM Packages? In this way, this project will not be separately maintained.

And how to get resumeLogin's promise?

It is surprising that it was mentioned in article https://medevel.com/meteor-ddp-nextjs/
