where would be the best to make an issue / make MyMonero team aware of this so they can respond? It is possible they just keep changes in-house and the public git gets updated 'not so often'

I am strongly against this, so big NO

but why?

• MyMonero is most used wallet in Monero community, removing most used wallet in the community is like shooting ourselves in the foot

• When there was network anomaly in transactions and many other wallets bugging, MyMonero team was fast and updated their software to keep working

• It's currently easiest wallet currently to use Monero, fast sync, great for new users

• MyMonero was supporting Monero for years back and It was first monero wallet I was using for year or so before going to Monero GUI

• MyMonero is really important part of Monero eco-system is de-listing it from official site is counter-productive

• There is swap, on-ramp function and also link to localmonero making it favor p2p trade and circular monero economy

I dont think it was intended

the user who posted the linked issue is (i believe) new.

all other issues have been (afaict) on the mymonero repo directly.

there are also a few (more than 1) issues here regarding revising the waller section and/or clearly labelling wallets what use centralized backends and/or wallets that do not work with lws (edge), or contain trackers (edge).

broken telephone. my loud tweet brought some attn to this. Hopefully we can reach a proper conclusion.

The same applies to Edge. Hopefully someone can reach out to them regarding the trackers and lws support, as those seem to be the major concerns here - privacy.
