When the player is in Pause mode and the TV starts the screensaver, waking up the TV the player can not resume in most cases. Selected subtitles are unselected too.

You mean that the playback position is lost or the playback is unable to start?

I must clarify that I launch your player from Nova, which could be related. If I pause playback and the TV screen saver kicks in while on pause, waking up your player has issues. It is not about lost playback position - Just player can not resume playback at all until I restart it.

  1. Sometimes it is able to resume ( if the tv was paused for a shorter time), but the subtitles are set to NONE and you have to go and select them again.
  2. If the pause was longer the player can not resume at all and I have to exit and restart the app
  3. It often happens that my cable box (external device) turns off because of inactivity while I am watching a movie on the TV using JUST which turns off the TV too because of the HDMI settings. Turning back on the TV shows Just Player, but it gets stuck and can not resume - similar to the screensaver issue. I have to restart the app.

A possible reason could be that the hard drive from which I stream is attached to a powerful router and may have been put to sleep because of inactivity. But even if I wait longer (for it to wake and spin up) the playback does not resume.

P.S. Using the NOVA native playback I have not noticed such issues.

These are minor issues that I can live with, but if you can fix the subtitles encoding that are passed from NOVA I will be very thankful and recommend you on every website possible!!!!!!
