Share without a HomePod shelly/mongoose within the Home App possible? #1381

I have seen this issue: https://github.com/mongoose-os-apps/shelly-homekit/issues/1342 I think that @timoschilling is referring to this document explaining how to share the home in the iOS app: https://support.apple.com/en-us/102386

But this does not work for me, all I am seeing is myself as the owner and the hint to install a HomePod.

So my question is: can I without a HomePod share a shelly/mongoose within the Home App?

I also checked the: If you can't share control of a home section and I am e.g. within my home when sharing. Although I am not sure if I am on the latest version, at least the App Store does not show any update but I am not sure if I clicked the “upgrade” regarding the new architecture. Has it to do maybe with the new HomeKit architecture? How can I check if I am using it already?
