Initial admin account is not recognized when trying to log in.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. create empty database
2. follow intial setup procedures (enter db and admin account info) 
3. go to login page

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
expect to enter account information from above (email and password) and 
get logged in.  it complains that the "login credentials you supplied 
could not be recognized. Please try again".  i pulled up phpMyAdmin and 
copy/pasted the information from the ps_users entry and it still won't 
recognize the login.

also can not create new user accounts through login page interface.  no 
errors, just no new user created.  not sure if it's related to this, so 
not creating a new submission yet.

Please use labels and text to provide additional information.

Hmm, not sure about this one.  I installed the stable CakePHP 1.2 and phpShop, 
but didn't run into this issue.  
Maybe I quashed this bug without realizing you had reported it.  I will mark 
invalid for now, if it still occurs will 
update.
