Selecting text f**ks up column

Describe the bug When you're selecting text from editor, the column number goes crazy. It can go to negative number or anything else

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Create/open file
2. write few lines of code
3. select few lines of text

Expected behavior It would show normal thing
