5 years ago @BlackDawn187 a managed log would also be helpful so we can get stacktraces and a version number, so please attach that information. You can find it in ~/.cache/MonoDevelop/8.0/log/.
The merp report does not help much, as we don't have the original dlls to actually symbolicate the stacktrace.
Walked away from my computer and came back to a frozen system, I had to terminate the process manually. I've included the most recent mono log, from my home folder; for informational purposes I suppose. Hopefully something in there can help you track down the source.
