Thanks for reviewing that. (FWIW I didn't put it in the troubleshooting section originally because that seemed to be about troubleshooting "received" hardware and software, not troubleshooting one's own code. But I guess that bias has shifted now. And it does make it much more findable.)
I've also changed some "you"s to "we"s to be more consistent. Although the last sentence is still directed at "you" rather than us.
When this goes live I will make a pull request on https://github.com/monome/norns-example-mod
I've just learned about this and have found it really useful. I think it would help others, too. This is the best place I could find to put this information.
FYI I've also put this info on lines.
