[router] split mode --> dsp kill #23

when trying to split into corners on right side and flin on left side, dsp dies instantly. this happens only with corners on right / flin on left

EDIT: apparently this CAN also happen sometimes in other cases with other programs than corners on the right side.

also, sometimes to recreate the issue - you'll have to do the gesture twice, although it seems usually to happen instantly

what does 'dsp dies instantly' mean?
does this happen everytime you do it?
does the meter show clipping?
does the clock keep running?
does max die altogether?
does turning the dsp off then back on fix the problem?
does changing to a different grid arrangement restore the sound?
do you have to restart the patch, or maxmsp altogether?
what does the CPU usage look like when this occurs (activity monitor)?

dsp dies instantly, means quite literally what it says: you hear a loud click and all sound dies (all apps). the transport is still running since this is not dsp, obviously.

yes, it happens everytime i do it.

the meter does not show clipping

max doesn't die. then i would have written that as well, of course.

turning dsp off/on does not fix it. restart needed.

cpu doesn't spike when it happens

fixed in: c0dd30aeb9c70a89b16b581de1725f44e781cf52

this is a hacky solution. the problem stems from extraneous /sys/size messages being sent at inappropriate times.
