After some discussion we've decided not to adopt this approach-- the main reason being that there are so many distribution methods, and this one in particular adds quite a bit to the repository. If this install method does prove itself over the years we can reconsider. Thanks for investigating!
Hello, This is an experiment, feel free to close if you don't want an open PR hanging around.
The goal here is to provide simpler deployment workflow on Linux, by using a new systemd feature that allows distributing system services as containers.
I am testing this out on Fedora 35 and it's working nicely, in a few years it may be a solid way to distribute binaries of serialosc for Linux :)
