Problems receiving calls via linphone #1418

*What steps will reproduce the problem?

Create a linphone account using Basic: uname, sip.linphone.org & pwd. Notice
that the account is registered. Call in from another location.

*What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I expect to receive a call, but that doesn't happen.

*What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

r1196, HTC thunderbolt

*Please provide any additional information below.

Registering with 3cxphone, I can get linphone to work for incoming calls, with
or without a stun server. Neither case works for csipsimple.

On the other hand, registering IPComms works for incoming calls on both
3cxphone and csipsimple, though it must have a STUN server or ICE enabled.

On an unrelated note, how is it that linphone can do without stun, but IPComms
must have it? I probably don't understand STUN sufficiently, but if it's about
NAT transversal, shouldn't I either need it or not, independent of what SIP
service I use?

Since that appears not to be the case, why can't we set STUN settings
independently for each line, as with 3cxphone?

Thanks for your work & time! I appreciate the multiple lines & encryption.
Would you consider a desktop version?

I should have added that the HTC is running gingerbread.

Perhaps I should also add that when calling in via linphone, it just rings
endlessly.
