Service chainring bolts #6

Awaiting arrival of this:

Once received; remove bolts, grease threads and allen bolt heads (avoid getting grease on outside of nuts), tighten up.

Well the tool arrived, and is too large for the notch in the back of the bolt :(

Could try filing the the tool for a better fit?

Really struggling to prevent the nuts from turning. Also a couple of the allen bolts are nearly rounded out. Could be one for LBS…

Service booked at Full City Cycles this friday let's see what they say…

Full City were able to tighten these all up without replacing.

Need to reexamine my tools and technique!
