Sonoma broke it again #14

Hi,

I have to admit I didn't beta-test Sonoma so only now noticed - it's broken again. It plays only on the display which has in System Settings > Displays > Arrange, the menu bar.

I noticed the same behaviour with just one of Apple's own savers, Drift.

BTW it looks like now you can select a different saver for each display, but if I try to select Matrix (or Drift) for the display with no menu, it doesn't start. The same is for Drift.

Correct, I noticed the same issue after upgrading to Sonoma

I haven’t had an issue on my MacBook or Mac Studio since upgrading to Sonoma, the Studio has 2 displays plugged into it and both show the screensaver perfectly fine.

I've just tried with a very different set up - an iPad connected over Wi-Fi - and it works. So I'll do more tests with different directly-attached screens.

I noticed there's also another problem, on my M2 Mac the "legacyScreenSaver (Wallpaper)" takes ca 40% CPU and uses almost 5 GB of memory, these are not critical numbers but otherwise the highest on my quite idling Mac

I'm seeing the same, where it only shows now on my laptop display and not any externals, no matter how I try to configure the settings. Thank you Monroe for your work on the screensaver. It's so beautiful.
