It could be great to have at least two levels of sub-directories.

If the image identifier is 5fbaafd37cc2b, we could put it under {rich editor dir}/5f/ba/.

This way we avoid having too many files in the same directory. Which could lead to reaching the maximum of files in a directory on unix systems.

@jacquesbh Also, it could be great to make it compatible with LiipImagine (I mean easier integration)

Will do! We have improved this part already on some projects, we just need to do the correct implementation in this plugin.

@Loocos integration with liip imagine is now done and you can combine it with the https://github.com/monsieurbiz/SyliusMediaManagerPlugin
