How to make this work on Related products slider / section in product detail page?

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. I have a related product section to be displayed after the main form of the PDP. The products will be loaded via vendor/magento/module-catalog/view/frontend/templates/product/list/items.phtml.

How can I call the ajax add to cart function when a product from related product section is added to the cart?
