Hello, i wanted to ask if the web display mod will ever support HTML5 so players can watch more videos without flash, or if there will be any possibility to add flash into mcef (i know about title on montoyo wiki). If HTML5 will be added, when ? Thanks for response.

ever support HTML5 so players can watch more videos

HTML5 video can already be played. In fact testing with MCEF-1.7.10-0.6 & WebDisplays-0.11 I was able to play a ogg video.

I suspect this is just another duplicate of #39

_@montoyo if your wondering how I can play while on linux and want a linux build ( #8 ) this is how._

Oh sorry, i restarted server and it was working but, is there any possibility to turn HTML5 videos in better quality than 360p? Thanks for response.

Assuming your ogg video is in fact 1920×1080;

Within WebDisplay.cfg

rendering {
    # (Real) Pixels Per (Minecraft block) Pixel. Reduce this for better performances.
    I:ppp=5
}

Change I:ppp= to 32 - but be warned unless you have something like a GTX1060 (or equivalent amd) or higher gfx card it might as well be in 360p with the FPS you'll get.

....this is no longer an issue related to MCEF nor Webdisplays.

Take that issue up with Youtube.

Thanks for response, i already tried and the answer was that my browser is old or does not support higher resulation, i don't get it because some videos can be played at 8K and others can be played in 360p only. Edit: When i try same video on PC browser the option for 1080p is here, but in minecraft WebDisplays its still 360p. Edit2: And the HTML5 support failed again image
