Cache existing badges #103

In 260815e90506b3f1a7df220693bea87a1862c7b0, an improvement was integrated which brought the number of database queries for existing badges down to 1. However, this is still 1 database query per page impression. It would be worthwhile to cache this information to ship the pages even faster.

This plugin has finally reached end of life now and will not be upgraded to Moodle 4.x.

I would like to invite you to have a look at our Moodle 4 theme theme_boost_union which supports several aspects of this plugin's feature set and is actively maintained and extended. Thank you for your understanding.

Against this background, I will close this issue.
