remove engine_opts #63

We went through headaches to understand how to implement those, but truth is there is not that much value in there and I don't fully grasp the possibilities.

left to right diagrams are fun but not that useful for instance.

let's just remove it, easier to add it later and think it through then, so CRAN release is cleaner, that'll save a vignette too.
