What soundcard to you have (make, model, chip)?
St-lab 8768 (7.1?)

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. install and configure foobar like I've described in issue69
2. have "Enable s/pdif-out" unchecked in CMI control applet
3. start playback in foobar

What is the expected output? What happens instead?
sound on analogue out, but the output seems to be muted, there is no sound
in my headphones, but if I enable back s/pdif out then the sound comes back...

What version of the driver are you using? On what operating system? What
version of the operationg system are you using (32 or 64 bit)?
1.2.4
WindowsXP 32bit SP2 with no other fixes

What ports of the soundcard are affected by the bug (e.g. SPDIF, Mic-In)?
analogue out

Please provide any additional information below.

can you confirm that all the audio streams are shut down? The settings are
effectively applied once a new stream is initialized (see minwave.cpp).
