You might be able to work around it by doing the remote desktop trick described in step 2 of this guide: https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/724672/tips-and-tricks/tnt-how-to-play-pc-games-that-don-rsquo-t-have-native-controller-support-/
Thanks for your reply, unfortunately it didn't help :/ What's more is that after having to close down the "NVIDIA Gamestream"-startup screen (with Alt+F4) the computer goes somewhat bonkers. It closes down all open apps (such as Chrome, or even Geforce Experience) and hides the start menu/whole bar at the bottom. Trying to open an app afterwards seems to take forever so I just restart the computer. Even the restart feels sluggish like the Windows animation is lagging and so is the startup sound... a little worrying tbh. I have no problems running games (or anything else) normally through Steam though so I don't think there's a hardware problem anywhere.
To be clear, I see the following thing on both my PC and my client device (in this case a Nexus 5):
Strange. When you select the remote desktop app in Limelight, do you still get that screen? It never shows up for me when streaming remote desktop.
Oh, sorry, I didn't realise I was supposed to launch the remote desktop app from Limelight. I just tried launching a game.
Launching remote desktop from Limelight actually does work. I see my screen and can move the mouse.
However, I still get the same problem with all open apps shutting down as soon as the connection is made (like Chrome and Steam (which were open when I tried)), and trying to launch them again just doesn't work at all so I can't really play any games anyway... :/
Re-open if this is still an issue.
I seem to have the same problem. Desktop stream works but when I launch a game it hangs on de loading screen. No error output. I tried on both my phone and tablet, same issue.
I realise this isn't a problem with the Limelight app, but I've already tried the Nvidia support and unsurprisingly they didn't help.
I can connect just fine to my GTX680 powered PC and get a list of games / apps. But whenever I try to launch a game it just gets stuck at the "NVIDIA Gamestream" startup screen. I've tried waiting several minutes and the computer seems to do some work (HD makes noise and lights are flashing) but nothing happens.
Anyone else have this issue?
