Steps to reproduce Install and launch the application

Portable version works just fine

It works fine here on my Surface Pro X on Windows 11 23H2. Please provide details on your exact system and OS to help diagnose the issue.

Please also provide the installer logs from your %TEMP% directory. The file name will be in the format: Moonlight_Game_Streaming_Client_*.log

I'll chime in here as it just happened to me. I'm using the Microsoft Windows Dev Kit 2023. Logs attached.

As the OP noted, the portable version works fine.

Also, here is a diff between the installed directory and the portable directory.
