Does it crash or something? There's nothing wrong with failing to load a VDPAU library as that is quite common for machines that use VAAPI instead of VDPAU.
It is a bit strange on your system since you have an Nvidia GPU though. What does vdpauinfo
say on your system?
Also can you provide logs from the working v5.0.1 version too? I would be interested to compare them.
It just doesn't open.
