Describe the bug After updating to Moonlight version 6.0 on macOS, the fullscreen minimization shortcut (command+option+shift+d) has become non-functional. This issue has been confirmed to be specific to the new version after downgrading and testing.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Update Moonlight to version 6.0 on macOS.
  2. Enter fullscreen mode in any streamed game.
  3. Attempt to use the minimization shortcut command+option+shift+d.
  4. Observe that the shortcut does not minimize the application.

Affected games All games tested in fullscreen mode exhibit this issue.

Client PC details

Additional context The issue seems to be introduced with the new update, as downgrading to an earlier version of Moonlight resolves the problem.

I can confirm the bug with the minimization shortcut on my Mac here. Not triggering Game Mode is expected and documented in the 6.0 release notes.

Thank you for pointing that out! I missed that detail. I was under the impression that the shortcut not working was related to Game Mode.

Looks like was actually already broken for borderless mode in v5.0.1 and simply looked like a regression specific to v6.0.0 because we started using borderless mode for all non-native resolutions. That behavior change was already reverted for #1301 so I think the regression new to v6.0.0 here is also fixed by that.

There is still a bug with borderless windowed mode here, but it's not a regression in v6.0.0 so I'll punt this to v6.1.
