I installed moonlight on my pc and galaxy tab. It works great remotely. But as soon as I get home my xbox one wireless controller is not working with any games in my steam library. It does work with retroarch and other play stores. Just not any game in my steam library. To rectify this I have to restart my computer. The xbox controller is connected wirelessly through usb adaptor. I don't use bluetooth on the pc. Only remotely with my galaxy tablet.

I suspect you're not fully quitting the session, instead just disconnecting from it.
