Transferring to nvidia-gamestream-issues because it's not a bug in Moonlight itself. We just display whatever video stream the PC sends us. If it's not sending video correctly, there's nothing we can from our end :(
Describe the bug I have 2 monitors, the primary is connected by DP and I expect it to disconnect when turned off (which it does) and for moonlight to use the second monitor because my pc considers it the primary (which it does). However, the stream shows a black screen unless i am streaming a full screen game. If the game is in any type of windowed mode, or if I try to stream my desktop, it is blank. I am sure this is related to having 2 monitors because unplugging my second monitor and plugging it into the other HDMI port in my gpu resolves the issue until I turn the other monitor back on, as if the pc "realizes" there are 2 which breaks it again for whatever reason. Unplugging the primary (DP) monitor does not change this behavior by itself.
Steps to reproduce Have one monitor connected by DP, and one by HDMI. Turn off the DP one and try to stream. In my case this leads to the situations described.
Affected games Any game if it is not fullscreen.
