When starting steam lately status is "in game NVIDIA.launcher" #8

Hi

Lately when using moonlight everytime I launch steam directly status is as follows:

This sounds like a minor annoyance, but has two problems

  1. non-steam shortcuts in steam fail to load
  2. when you hit stop remote play it tells you it can't exit because you're in-game

well... this is an issue not a question, but alas, it happens with official gamestream too lately so /shrug

Hi.

Im having the same problem have you found a fix?

a workaround. Add steam.exe to geforce experience as a different "steam" launcher.

Sucks but it works
