color mask for imagery #54

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

For imagery there is the need to create an alpha mask by a given color.

This is needed for BitPacked maps that will not properly support raster
styling, since raster styling would convert them into non-bitpacked maps and
therefore expand them into memory, making them impossible to render.

For those cases it should at least be possible to create a mask by color, to
for example remove the white background from a CTP and see it overlayed over an
ortophoto.
