Ok, this has been done. It is exported as shapefile with the with and alpha and 
color in the attributes. Width and alpha is supported from field in the new 
editor, so it is easy to gain the same result as the annotation just by 
choosing the color (see attached snaps). Just to make sure it is not seen as a 
bug, consider the export width is that of the anotation and once exported it 
will not scale with the zoom, which is why, when zoomed int, the annotations 
scale, while the shapefile obviously not.
