Hi there,

great application - xkb is quite difficult to use, so this is amazing.

Could I just check - xkeysnail doesn't seem to support Hyper, right?

Would it possible for it to do so?

Would like for this to be the case as well. I just found this application and would much prefer to use it instead of using an xmodmap script with xcape as well as autokey (which provides a hyper key). Maybe looking into how they implement it would help with this project.

My fork now supports adding a hyper key using add_modifier but you may still need to configure X properly for applications to support it. For example I'm pretty sure my default xmodmap just had it lumped in with other keys so after starting the keymapper it was necessary for me to run xmodmap to move Hyper_L to the virtual mod3 key to make it available inside Awesome WM.
