We're targeting a Mopidy 3 final release Dec 21. It would be great to get this merged and a prerelease out quickly, so that Mopidy-Beets can get some manual testing (and help find issues in Mopidy itself) in good time before the final release.

December 21 is here. I don't have a Beets installation, so I don't have the immediate means to test this.

@sumpfralle If we address the few comments above, is this in a working shape?

I merged this, fixed the comments, and tested briefly towards a tiny Beets installation. As everything seemed to work, I released 4.0.0rc1.

@sumpfralle If everything works well for you, which I assume actually use Beets, please give me a thumbs up and/or release 4.0.0 final.
