NonSteamLauncher Decky Plugin will not install GoG Galaxy

[AoS-DFA]

Hardware: Steam Deck LED 512GB Software: SteamOS Holo 3.5.19 (stock install), Decky v3.0.1, NonSteamLaunchers-1.0.1-2213950 (Decky Plugin Version)

Preconditions: I followed these directions, including enabling developer mode, enabling CEF debugging, installing Google Chrome, and running Chrome logged in to GoG in the background while NonSteamLaunchers runs.

Actions:

1. Launched Chrome, logged in to GoG account, left running in background for remaining steps
2. Launched NonSteamLaunchers from Decky
3. Selected "Auto Scan Games"
4. Chose "Game Launchers" from the Install List
5. Checked "Gog Galaxy"
6. Checked "Separate Launcher Folders"
7. Clicked "Install"

Post Conditions:

1. Progress Bar indicated GoG installation was underway
2. Dialog box indicated GoG installation was successful
3. Return to Steam library, GoG launcher was not listed in library as a non-steam game
4. Rebooting Steam Deck, GoG launcher still not listed in library
5. Returning to desktop mode, searching the file system returned no GoG installer or files
6. Log file attached

NonSteamLauncher seems to work fine with other installers, including Amazon Games and the EA App.

What does this file (fix.zip) do? It's sounding virus-detection alarms so I'm not downloading it until I know more.

What does this file (fix.zip) do? It's sounding virus-detection alarms so I'm not downloading it until I know more.

Do not run that file! It is malware. The account has been spamming links to it all over GitHub. They use a password protected zip archive to evade the auto-check by MediaFire. I extracted it on a non-Windows machine and checked it manually. 17 positives.

@thelabcat @AoS-DFA found an actual fix, with no malware involved lol I'll be adding it the testing store version of NSL, in the meantime if you really need GOG, I've already added the fix into the desktop version or the .desktop file of NSL, once installed simply jump back into game mode with the plugin, you should be good to go!

Thanks! I figured as much, but also figured it's not my place to go around accusing people here.

I'm currently set to use the testing store, so I'll try an update later tonight and report back.

@AoS-DFA it's not in the testing store yet. In the meantime use the .desktop version. I haven't uploaded any new builds for the testing store, will do soon though!
