Call recording contains only noise for leg-a on freeswitch #18

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. install freeswitch (default config is ok)
2. connect gui with extension 1000
3. connect x-lite with extension 1001
4. dial 1001 from gui and answer from x-lite
5. press *2 on gui's keypad

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
open call recording (under freeswitch/recordings/) and open it (with vlc or
what else). Recorded audio should contain leg-a in the left channel and
leg-b in the right one.
Notice that, instead, leg-a (on the left channel) is just white noise,
while leg-b is correctly recorded. Inverting gui and x-lite registration is
ok

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
last version (as of today) of both sipek2 and freeswitch

Also tested OK with jain-sip communicator and x-lite

Same test with yate - the result:
- when leg-a is talking everything is fine
- when leg-a is in silence nothing is recorded even though leg-b is speaking -
it
seems a problem regarding RTP and silence suppression

Disabling silence suppression made the trick with yate - I had not a chance to
try it
with freeswitch (too bad, freeswitch is a great platform to work with)

A new release of freeswitch (1.0.3) works correctly. Silence suppression (VAD)
has
still to be disabled, anyway
