Can't install on windows XP: check failed #62

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Download the installer
2. Run the installer

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expect to have the program install, instead error message is shown:
Check failed: -2147217404

What version of the product are you using?

win-sshfs: 0.0.1.5
Client OS: Windows XP 32 Bit
Server OS: Ubuntu 12.04 64Bit
Ssh server: OpenSSH 5.9p1

Please provide any additional information below.
Works fine on other computers in the office, both Windows XP and Windows 7.  
Any information about what this error message means would be helpful.  Searched 
all issues for "check failed" and found nothing.
