Drupal 8 compatibility #1

Hi,

will there be any compatibility for Drupal 8 in the near future?

Or is there a way to (manually) convert the theme to be compatible with Drupal 8?

you can complete the task by using DRUSH but for me, when i'm trying to update from Drupal 7.41 to Druapl 7.53, i can't because the error message shows me that it needs a higher bootstrap
