If I click on a t.me link inside Telegram Web K, it works as expected. However, if I receive a t.me link from another source, it is not trivial to use it in Telegram Web K. The easiest way is to post it to Saved Messages (or any other chat) and click it in the post, but this is hacky.

An easier way to use t.me links received from outside sources. E.g. pasting such a link into the search box and pressing Enter would activate it.
