Running into this bug getting into the bios.
The pfSense install requires that the WAN interface is set up correctly to connect to the internet. However, it doesn't provide the PPoE options required to establish the internet connection.
Consider reviewing the Proxmox install guide for pfSense to see if that could address issues faced when virtualized.
The only difference was that I updated CPU type from the default kvm64
to host
.
I'll close this for now as I'm not actively having pfSense issues with it virtualized in Proxmox.
The central router for the network, pfSense, is currently provisioned as a VM on

(Proxmox). pfSense has performance issues when running virtualized. To address this, reprovisionvenus
as a dedicated host for pfSense.unifi
VM to phobos (or replacement host if #15 goes first).venus
