what are you lacking? I don't get it.
It looks like you don't have your terminal set to true colors. This looks like the 256 color version of Gruvbox.
Also, if I read you correctly, you are using the base16 version of Gruvbox. This is not true Gruvbox, so you cannot expect to get the same result. In my experience, the base16/packaged version is quite inferior to Gruvbox proper.
@thriveth I woudn't call base16 inferior but yes, you're right about different experience and getting exact look
@morhetz No that was uncalled for, sorry, it's a different package with a partially different scope. But I do think their implementation of Gruvbox is inferior to the original.
@thriveth Sure 😃 Totally agree with you. I've just wanted to honor base16 for all the great job they've done. You're 100% right that it's different package with different scope.
Hi, so I'm trying to get my vim to look exactly the same as the gruvbox screenshot.

But I only get it to look like this:

If anyone could help me it would really mean alot and save me alot of time!
Ive been trying to google these different plugins and settings but I just cant seem to get it right.
I'm using the base16 theme for my terminal (iterm2) with vim base16 plugin and the base16 shell plugin.
Thanks alot!
Best,
J
