set custom sender permanently #275

O2 supports sending anonymous SMS or text as sender id, like your name for
example. There is no way to use this feature in WebSMS now.

There is a field "custom sender". It overrides the general sender to be used by
a specific connector, and is numeric.

I would like to use a custom text as a sender. Please add this option to the O2
Connector.

it is implemented since a few month.
just press that extra button to see the "custom sender" field (it's not the
custom sender in the connector prefs)

Thanks for your comment, but this is not what i'm looking for.

It has to be a default setting for the extra-customer-sender. I want to send
all my SMS with it w/o need to retype it for every SMS. Is that possible?

please verify this apk ;)
i made the custom sender field in o2's preferences accepting anything.
if something other than +[0-9] is entered. the default sender is used for login
as if nothing was entered.

Thank you! Now it's time to convince my wife to send SMS from her Android
