SMSdroid - Selection button does not work #846

I want to select multiple SMS messages to delete them. Therefore I tried to 
push the selection button on top on the screen to mark multiple SMS.

Nothing happens.

Version: SMSdroid v1.6.2
OS: 4.4.3

There is no button to select multiple messages. What exactly did you press?

Oh, I thought the button marked in the attached screenshot would be for 
multiple selection. It looks similar to buttons in other apps (like Dropbox, 
...).
I was looking for such a function in SMSdroid.

it's for marking all messages as read.
you can long click actionbar buttons to get a help text.

there is no option to select multiple messages right now. but i believe, there 
is an issue for that already.
