I really like the idea. Didn't even know that this was possible :) My focus for the app is currently more on the basics, so it will probably take a while (if not someone else wants to work on this).
First, let me congratulate you for your work on mucke because it is really a magnificent application. I've liked it so much that I have headed to Weblate and completed / revised the ES translation. I also wanted to donate but didn't find any way to do so.
Second, I've found that for me mucke is lacking one feature: the ability to show song lyrics (available in the song metadata). Such feature is critical: I can't sing properly without the lyrics!
I suggest the feature to be a button that only shows in the current playing song screen (if the song has lyrics), or just another option from the menu in that very same screen. You could either replace the album cover to show the lyrics or show a pop-up with the lyrics.
