You are a very very big noob.
It's not as easy as just looking at the iPod's files... and the only files you
can
look at on the iPod are the photos you save from safari ect.
Read around a little bit and you will realize that you can't just look at the
files
and find an exploit.

just link to the issue 6 posts. it makes it easier on everyone (but mostly
me).
(cool, google automatically hyperlinks stuff just by typing "issue 6" in plain

@clepto if you want portable nes, get a PSP slim. they are already hacked and
can
play nes/snes/n64/ps1/dos/GBA/GBC games. otherwise, just wait for the freaking
JB.
chronic already knows that a lot of people are waiting. quit mucking up the
coding page.

TouchCopy DOESN'T access root!
Original comment by robserob...@gmail.com
on 5 Jan 2009 at 1:39
yes it does you just have to go to the options menu and look for an option that
says
file browser and activate the root option(that is the only one)and next you go
to the
files menu and there you go
Original comment by carlosfd...@hotmail.com
on 5 Jan 2009 at 2:02
rob2687 posted more ways to access the files on your itouch:
"Install iPhoneBrowser or DiskAid and you will be able to view the files like
in the
screenshots that were posted."
just google them.
(thats how you give credit carlos)

Touch copy can't show the root filesystem of the ipod touch v2.
Carlos : change your mind and stop saying wrong informations please.
The root filesystem is like shown in this page :
http://theiphonewiki.com/wiki/index.php?title=Filesystem
Touch copy is not the key of ipod touch exploitation...
Original comment by cyril.ca...@gmail.com
on 5 Jan 2009 at 6:43
duh. touchcopy was never the key to exploit the 2G. that was never the plan. it
does
view the root filesystem, but that was just so that some people who thought
that they
had an idea could experiment.
@cyril that is the IPHONE filesystem
@carlos fine. just refer people to issue 6 when they ask about touchcopy
Original comment by spiderfa...@gmail.com
on 5 Jan 2009 at 8:03
actually touchcopy is for ipods and iphones and wht progams were in the plan to
break the touch
Original comment by maplesto...@live.com
on 5 Jan 2009 at 8:06
@spiderfan :
Another time : touch copy wont show you the root filesystem !
I am a computer scientist => trust me.
The iPhone and iPod touch filesystem are nearly the same.

What If the jailbreak was something stupid that you looked over. You never
apple might have made it so
simple that you never thought to do it. I could just think of that all the
codeing and it would be super simple.
You should never over look the stupidest things. What if you looked for apples
sig in the different apps there
are out there.
Go Chronic Dev team hope you find the jailbreak soon. Your buddy artcard57

Have you looked at Safari Exploits? Such as this one:

It will crash your safari in your ipod touch. I had to put my power cable to
reboot it.
