Success in cracking the ipod *new* (system folder(s)) #13

Yesterday, i downloaded the new "windows 7/ 7000 build beta" from 
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windows-7/default.aspx. When i have not
downloaded iTunes yet, but i plugged in my iPod. When i did that i got a
pop up of the new Microsoft device management center, in this i opened up
my ipod's folder. I found out more iPod system files in there, and not in
my old xp OS. Within that i could access my iPods music, videos, and most
importan apps and the IPSW file(s). Apple does not know about the new
Windows 7 beta, so they have not updated the "iPod to computer link".

Nope! This is the exploit. They've found a door in :). NOW you guys can ask 
about "What percent till it's done?
" (don't bother Chronic with the question though), cause all that's left is for 
the DevTeam to build redsn0w 
into PWNAGE, or make whatever piece of software that they can release to the 
public.

It shouldn't be long now, and we've got a jailbreak, no question if it's 
possible... it is! :D

Now that the iphone dev is working on the 2g jail break do you think you will 
start 
any other projects after its done ? because id love to follow on them givs me 
something to do after im done hockey practice and hmk :P

Ok, is this going to be a hardware jailbreak? or will it be software only. 
Because,
some rumors say its goin to involve the opening and screwing with of the ipod, 
but
muscle nerd has said nothing of the sort. anyone add some clarification on this?

its a software jailbreak the hardware, jailbreaks are false even tho its

YAY!!! I figured as much. The logical explanation would be quick pwn-ish kind of
thing. but i heard from ipodwizard that it was a hardware jailbreak, and 
freaked.
When I freak. Logic is not implied

plus i dont think they would release a tutorial on how to open ur 2g and mod 
the 
hardware to all the noobs out there it would be kind of realy dumb (not you

you guys dont care about the dev team, you just want the ipod touch 2g to be 
jailbroken. We should give them more appreciation for a hard days work in 
attempting to jailbreak the ipod touch. Drinks are on me dev team!

When my ipod touch 2G came in the mail today, I had full intentions of 
jailbreaking
it right away, only to find out that it was not supported :( im glad that 
someone is
working on it! thanks guys and keep up the good work :)

Im Sick of Dev-Team getting all credits...programmers should let others taste 
the
cake too..I would love to hear Chronic Dev had at least 75% to do with Dev-team
future success on the Ipod Touch 2G.
