I believe this is a legitimate ambiguity but we should check the particular choice in each case above.
I think John 4.30 should probably be lemmatized as ἔρχομαι but John 6.17 could stay ἄρχω (although it could go either way)
I agree that John 4.30 should stay E)/RXOMAI.
Why would John 6.17 not be "I go/I come" (E)/RXOMAI) rather than "I rule/I begin" (A)/RXW) ? What makes the A)/RXW reading plausible? (Just checking; I may have a blind spot here.)
I checked the others, and they all appear to be legitimate E)/RXOMAI instances.
@emg the English translations I've looked at seem split as to whether they "went" or "started". For example ESV has "got into a boat, and started across the sea to Capernaum".
I'm happy to change both of them to ἔρχομαι. We're in agreement John 4.30 at least needs to change.
I've fixed John 4.30. John 6.17 can be discussed further.
